By registering with Health Skills Training Ltd, you must first agree to the terms and conditions on this page. If you do not accept the terms, you may not use the services. By checking “I agree to the terms of use” you are stating that you agree to the terms in this document. If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Health Skills Training Ltd relationship with you in relation to this website. The term ‘Health Skills Training Ltd’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is Health Skills Training Ltd, 51 Frederick Road, Salford, Manchester, M6 6FP. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice. Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements. We recommend that person or group or organisation requiring onsite classroom training courses book, organise, secure a place with one of the instructors for the practical part of their training, prior to purchasing the online course as we cannot be held responsible if you are unable to attend the dates offered and no refunds are available for the online segment of the course. It is your responsibility to ensure that the course you purchase is suitable for your occupational requirements and fulfils your training obligations, if in doubt we recommend checking with the body that governs your particular industry prior to purchasing your course, as no refund will be given if you have to undertake additional training. Refunds will not be given due to the failure to successfully complete any of the courses available on our website. We cannot be held responsible in any way for cancellations or refunds for the practical aspect of our courses that are not run by Health Skills Training Ltd. All dealings must be conducted by you and the Provider or the Instructor you have booked for this part of your training. This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions. All trademarks reproduced in this website, which are not the property of, or licensed to the operator, are acknowledged on the website. Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence. From time to time this website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s). You may not create a link to this website from another website or document without Health Skills Trainings’ prior written consent. Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of England, Scotland and Wales.

2. Product Specifications

While we endeavour to ensure all specifications are correct at the time of publication, they do vary. As such we can accept no responsibility for incorrect information.

3. Payment Method

If you are making a booking online, you can pay by credit or debit card or by purchase order. Pay Pal handles our online credit and debit card transactions in a secure environment. If paying by purchase order, the invoice will need to be addressed to the booker or delegate’s employer. Payment must be made within 14 days from the date of the invoice or if the booking is made less than 7 days before the Course date, payment is required before the Course date. For bookings made other than via the Website, payment can be made in the following ways: Credit or debit card; Direct bank transfer to the HST bank account, details of which can be found below; Cheques by post made payable to “HST Ltd” If you are an existing member of HST, using any credit that you have standing on your HST account. Please note if you make payment by cash we will provide you a payment confirmation via receipt. You are advised to notify the HST Ltd in advance if you wish to pay by direct bank transfer to ensure the swift confirmation of your booking. You will not be eligible to attend the Course until full payment is received. In the case of late bookings payment must be made prior to attendance of the Course. If payment is not made prior to the delegate attending the Course HST Ltd reserves the right to refuse admission until payment has been made in full. Health Skills Training Ltd reserves the right to charge an administration fee plus interest on any unpaid invoice (whether fully or partly unpaid) in accordance with the relevant late payment legislation. Customers with delivery addresses outside the European Union may not be liable for VAT. Customers outside the UK are fully liable for any import duty or taxes or additional charges made by customs or other authorities. We accept no liability for the payment of any import, export or similar duty or tax imposed due to shipping of goods outside the United Kingdom

4. Liability limitation

The course material and curriculum available at Health Skills Training Ltd is developed by an experienced health care trainer, educator and compiled from information that is widely accepted. The Health Skills Training Ltd is an independent organization. Health Skills Training Ltd does not accept liability for losses or damage incurred as a result of your application of the material learned in this course. The information on this site carries no warranty or guaranty of any kind; expressed or implied. Health Skills Training Ltd is not liable, either in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for direct or indirect loss of profits, business or anticipated savings, nor for any indirect or consequential loss or damage or for any destruction of data.

5. Health Skills Training Ltd excludes all liability of any kind in respect of

 Any material on the Internet which can be accessed via the website and is not responsible in any way for any goods (including software) or services provided by third parties advertised, sold or otherwise made available by means of the Service or on the Internet; Health Skills Training Ltd is not liable either in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for the acts or omissions of other providers of goods or services or for faults in those goods or services. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.

6. Age limitation

There is no age limit as many of the Health Skills Training Ltd are related to health care trainings that can be widely used across schools and organisations. However it is advised to parents to supervise minors below the age of 16 as some of the training information’s/pictures/video clips may contain sensitive information. If you are aged 16 or under, you should not enter personal information on our web pages without the approval of your parent or guardian.

7. Your certificate

Your printed certificate may vary from the image displayed on this website. Your certificate represents that you have successfully completed the test created by our instructors for which the certificate is issued. When we issue you a certificate, we assume that you alone have completed the test. To the knowledge of our instructors, you trained in. Our certification does not guarantee that you are qualified to perform skills required. First-time taker is recommended to take hands-on trainings at a physical location. It is your responsibility to ensure that our certificate fulfils the requirements as requested by an employer, institution or state. If you require printed certificate would be charged at £4.99 for postage, shipment and handling. International fee may vary.

8. We do not offer legal advice

Know the rules of your organisation/ the local area in which you may be demonstrating/conducting learned skills/ Trainings/CPR, including Good Samaritan laws, before administering Trainings/BLS/CPR. Any legal questions should be referred to an attorney.

Terms and Conditions for Training and Courses

This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you (“you” means the party contracting with HST Ltd for Courses) the terms and conditions on which we (“we”, “us” or “HST Ltd” means the Health Skills Training Ltd) provide training courses (“Courses”) and is to be read in conjunction with our General Terms & Conditions of Business and Website Use available on the HST Website (“Terms and conditions & privacy policy”). If there is an inconsistency between any of the provisions of these terms and conditions and the General Terms, the provisions of these terms and conditions shall prevail. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking any Courses on our Website or in person. You should understand that by booking any Courses, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. You should print a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.

1. Booking Courses or Training

Bookings for Courses can be made via our “Website” (means www.healthskillstraining.com) or by contacting our Training & Events Team on +44 (0) 161 7434626/ (0) 7711554472 or at info@healthskillstraining.com. For online bookings, please select the Course that you require and click on the “Book” button, following the instructions step by step.

2. Description and pricing of courses

 Although we make every effort to ensure the prices listed are correct, mistakes may sometimes be made. If a mistake is discovered in the price of the Course that you have booked prior to confirmation of your booking, we will tell you and give you the option of either reconfirming your booking at the correct price or cancelling your booking. In this instance, if we are unable to contact you or we receive no reply from you your booking will be cancelled. HST Ltd reserves the right to change prices listed without notice. HST Ltd also reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company.

3. Discounts Membership Discounts

We may introduce time to time discounts on our courses for current members of HST. If booking via the Website, please log on to the Website as a member with login details before making your booking in order to receive the membership discount. When booking by any other means, you should quote your registration details/membership number in order to be entitled to a discount. If you fail to log into the Website or mention your membership status at the time of booking, you will be charged the full price for your Course. Unfortunately we cannot offer any retrospective refund or credit for any membership discount that you would have been entitled to receive. Introductory course discounts are advertised time to time on our website. If a delegate cancels any Course having received a bulk discount, they will lose the entitlement to such discount if the resulting booking is for less than 3 Courses or 3 individuals (as applicable).

4. Provisional Bookings

When booking a Course online, acknowledgement of the booking request is emailed within 1 working day the request is received by HST. Where a booking made online, by email or over the telephone is not accompanied by full payment or a formal purchase order (sent either by post or by email), the booking will be deemed to be provisional (“Provisional Booking”). Provisional Bookings will only be held until 5days prior to commencement of the Course, after this any Provisional Bookings will be cancelled. When payment has been received in full, or a formal purchase order has been provided (either by email or by post), the individuals’ place on the Course will then be confirmed and a binding contract will have been entered into between HST Ltd and the booking party. Please refer further to the “How to pay” section below.

5. Cancellation of Courses

 HST Ltd reserves the right to amend or cancel any course, course times, dates or published prices. Changes to course prices, times and dates will be advised before the course start date and any course already paid in full will not be subject to the increased price. As a course may be cancelled up to four weeks prior to its start date, we recommend that delegates do not make travel or accommodation arrangements before this time. Any travel or accommodation costs incurred are entirely the delegate’s responsibility. HST Ltd does not accept any liability for reimbursement of any costs incurred whatsoever in relation to its training courses or events. Where a course has been cancelled, delegates will be offered an alternative date for the same course, a credit towards another course or a refund.

6. How to Pay

• PayPal payment -If you pay through PayPal same HST training terms and conditions apply.

Once the candidate attends the training no refunds are applicable. See point number 10 on cancellations. If you are an existing member of HST, using any credit that you have standing on your HST account. Please note if you make payment by cash we will provide you a payment confirmation via receipt. You are advised to notify the HST Ltd in advance if you wish to pay by direct bank transfer to ensure the swift confirmation of your booking. 7. VAT & Card Charges

 VAT will be charged for all the invoices or bookings made after 15/11/2019, which will be shown on the invoice. If payment is made via a credit card or charge card, a non-refundable 2% fee will be added at the payment stage. The amount is not capped and there is no minimum charge. Fees will not be charged for payment via debit cards, direct bank transfer, bankers draft or cheques.

8. Joining Instructions

Joining instructions including venue details and start times are sent out by email to the Course booker at least 5 (five) days before the event. Once this has been done the services is deemed to have started under the Consumer Protect (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000

9. Copyright

All materials (“HST Ltd Materials”) provided for HST Courses including graphics, code, text products, software, audio, music and design are owned by HST Ltd or HST Ltd’ third party Course providers. No content in whole or in part of the HST Materials may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed, linked to or used in any way without the prior written permission of HST Ltd. Any such use is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of the copyright and other intellectual property rights of HST Ltd, or in the case of material licensed to HST Ltd, the owner of such materials.

10. Cancellations

Where a firm booking has been accepted by HST Ltd and is subsequently cancelled, the customer will be liable for the following charges. All cancellations must be received in writing.

11. Transfers

 In the event that a delegate wishes to transfer his booking to another Course, a 10% administration fee will be charged if the transfer is requested between three to five weeks of the original Course date. For transfer requests made three weeks or less prior to the Course date, no refund can be made. Transfers can be made to any event within a 3 month period.

12. Substitution

 Delegate substitution may be made at any time. If the membership status of the delegate changes, the fee payable will be amended accordingly.

13. Refunds

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel your booking, HST Ltd will refund the fees paid according to the above cancellation policy. If payment for the order was originally made by credit card, any refund will be made back to the same card. If payment for the order was made by another method, such as cheque or bankers’ draft, a refund will be made by direct bank transfer to a bank account that you elect. Refunds will not be payable after a course has been started.

14. Written Communications

Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications we send to you should be in writing. When using the Website, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. We will contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on our website. For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

15. Notices

All notices given by you to us must be given to address detailed in clause 20. We may give notice to you at either the e-mail or postal address you provide to us when placing an order. Notice will be deemed received and properly served immediately when posted on our website, 24 hours after an e-mail is sent, or three days after the date of posting of any letter. In proving the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that such letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an e-mail, which such e-mail was sent to the specified e-mail address of the addressee.

16. Non-EU Delegates

HST Ltd welcomes delegates from overseas but if you are resident outside the European Union (EU) you should ensure that you have a valid visa and can comply with all immigration requirements before booking a HST Course. Please note that HST Ltd training and events do not qualify you for a student visa or for entry to the UK or other EU countries. Visa information is given on www.ukvisas.gov.uk. If you wish to apply for entry to the UK you should contact your nearest British Mission that offers a visa service. A full list of UK Overseas Missions is given on www.fco.gov.uk. HST Ltd cannot process bookings from outside the EU without full payment in advance. Once payment has been made, cancellation fees are payable in accordance with our terms and conditions. If you do not have a visa before applying and you are unable to obtain one, cancellation fees will be levied. Any travel costs or any other expenses whatsoever incurred are entirely the delegate’s responsibility.

17. Specific Needs

HST Ltd aims to ensure that its events are accessible to all. If you have any specific needs, disability or health issue where you are unable to participate in certain practical activities that involves physical movement, lifting , handling, demonstrating practical skills, please advise us at the earliest possible time and we will contact you to discuss your requirements. It is the responsibility of the individual to discuss their needs to HST Ltd so that HST Ltd where possible can make the reasonable adjustment for their training.

18. Venues

Venues are booked based on the Training centre local booking policy agreement. Prior booking HST Ltd will visit the ensure that it meets the requirement of training.

21. Complaints Procedure

Health Skills Training Ltd is committed to providing high quality services. However, we give no warranty, either expressed or implied, as to the accuracy of the information on our website or in trainings and accept no liability for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused as a result of reliance on such information. Health Skills Training Ltd cannot guarantee that the user understands the subject. It lies within the responsibility of the customer (individual user and/or their agency/organisation) to assess and manage the user’s competence appropriately. The training content has been presented in good faith by Health Skills Training Ltd, and it lies within the responsibility of the user to make their own judgement as to the use of any material presented. 22. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
